About SolidTurn Locksmithing
SolidTurn Locksmithing is a locally owned, mobile locksmith service based in Northborough, Massachusetts. I focus on helping my neighbors feel safe, prepared, and never stranded—whether that means getting you back into your car, rekeying your home after a move, or making sure your business locks work the way they should.
The name SolidTurn comes from what a good lock and key should feel like: smooth, reliable, and confidence-inspiring every single time.
Meet Brian
Hi, I’m Brian Harmon, the owner and locksmith behind SolidTurn Locksmithing.
I come from a hands-on background in manufacturing and supply chain for the lock and key industry, which means I’ve spent nearly a decade around keys, hardware, and precision work long before I ever put “locksmith” on a business card. That experience taught me the value of quality materials, careful workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
To build a professional foundation on top of that experience, I’ve completed three locksmith certification programs over the years—including the Locksmithing Course through the California Institute of Locksmithing in Agoura Hills, California, as well as certified locksmith training from both The Peterson School and Foley Belsaw Locksmithing.
Together, these credentials reinforce the technical skill, precision, and industry knowledge I bring to every job. That mix of real-world manufacturing experience and formal locksmith training shaped how I approach my work: careful, methodical, and always focused on your security and peace of mind.
What I Do
SolidTurn Locksmithing is a mobile service, which means I come to you. Typical services include:
-
Residential lock rekeying and repairs
-
Lockouts for homes and vehicles
-
Key cutting and replacement for common key types
-
Hardware upgrades (deadbolts, smart locks, and higher-security options)
-
Basic small-business and office locksmith services
If you’re not sure whether your situation fits into one of these buckets, just ask—I’ll tell you honestly what I can do and what might be better handled by a different specialist.
How I Work
When you call SolidTurn Locksmithing, you’re working directly with the owner. I’ll show up when I say I will, explain what I’m doing, and give straightforward pricing before I start.
My guiding values are simple:
-
Reliability – Show up, follow through, and leave things better than I found them.
-
Respect – Your home, vehicle, and business are personal. I treat them that way.
-
Transparency – No games, no mystery fees—just clear communication.
-
Continuous Learning – Locks and security evolve; so do I, through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
If you’re looking for a locksmith who takes pride in every solid turn of the key, I’d be honored to earn your trust and your business.
